The Kisii County Government has partnered with Crop Soko to launch the Kiamokama cold Storage Facility in Nyaribari Masaba Sub County in a move aimed at enhancing post-harvest handling and improving market access for local farmers.
County Executive Committee (CEC) members Cyrus Nyabicha (trade), Daniel Ondabu (Public Administration), Eric Miyienda (Education) and Chief Officer in charge of Agriculture Alice Choti represented governor Paul Simba Arati in a function that was also attended by Deputy County Commissioner Jane Chabira area Member of County Assembly Hon, Malack Matara and his Gesusu ward counterpart Hon. Antony Onkundi.
In his remarks, CEC Ondabu said the facility is one of the milestones in Governor Arati’s administration and emphasized the importance of unity and seamless collaboration in delivering development across all sectors.
