

The One-Stop Shop will bring together key maternal and child health services under one roof, including Antenatal Care (ANC), delivery wards, maternity wards, maternity theatres, Newborn Units (NBU), a Newborn ICU, postnatal units, and other specialized departments.
The facility is expected to significantly enhance healthcare delivery and ease congestion in other hospitals across the county. Its primary goal is to provide advanced, comprehensive care particularly for women and children, who often require specialized attention.
Kisii County is one of Kenya’s 47 counties, established by the 2010 Constitution to decentralize governance. Situated in the former Nyanza Province, it’s a densely populated region known for its fertile land, making agriculture its primary economic driver.
