Governor Ongwae makes changes in the county executive

Kisii Governor James Ongwae has made changes in the County Executive aimed at improving service delivery.

In the changes contained in Executive Order Number 1 of 2018 dated 27th August 2018 and signed by the Governor, Moses Onderi becomes the new CEC for Finance and Economic Planning replacing John Momanyi.

Mr Momanyi moves the department of Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development as County Executive Committee member, a position previously held by Mr Onderi.

Ms Biliah Mogaka, previously the Chief Officer for Energy, Environment and Natural Resources move to the office of the Governor as Chief Officer. She will also serve as Chief of Staff.

Charles Nyakweba, currently director administration in the department of Roads and Public Works moves to the department of Energy, Environment and Natural Resources to perform duties of Chief Officer until the post is substantively filled.

The changes take effect immediately.
