H.E Governor James Ongwae has promised to improve health care services for the residents of Nyaribari Chache Sub County.

Speaking at Birongo Ward when he laid a foundation stone for the Nyang’eni dispensary project, Governor Ongwae said health care is one of his government’s flagship projects for this financial year as he fulfills the promises he made to the electorate.

“I am keen to ensure I fulfill all the promises I gave you. So far I have focused on Infrastructure Development, Health Care, Market development and Social protection. As regards your health needs, my government will also ensure operationalization of all Sub County hospital theaters and X-ray Department, Keumbu being one of them,” said Ongwae.

In a bid to ensure the highest attainable level of health both for the people of Birongo, Nyaribari Chache and Kisii County, Governor Ongwae said the development fund will also go towards strengthening maternity and lab services for the existing health centers and dispensaries in the County.
